Accessing precise and detailed information on decoded VINs is easier than ever before with the newest version of Chrome’s web-based Automotive Description Service (ADS). Powered by over 20-years of vehicle data, ADS enables one-to-one vehicle matching for the most comprehensive make, model, trim, and equipment descriptions.

The ADS web service is hosted by Chrome and leverages our high-quality VIN and new vehicle information to provide on-demand vehicle descriptions through web service calls. The streamlined web service interface conforms to primary web service standards (WS-1 Basic 1, WSDL 1.1, SOAP 1.1) and allows you to implement the service in virtually any type of application.

Useful in repair and service applications, financial and insurance applications, fleet management applications, classified web sites, new and used inventory enhancement for dealers, inspections, and auctions.
